Hilal Market is a grocery delivery platform for the Somali market, built at Tech Zone as two Flutter apps on one REST backend.

Shopper app

• Sign in by phone with an OTP code, or with Google and Facebook.
• Categories, products, cart, coupons and checkout with local mobile money (eDahab, WAAFIPay).
• Saved delivery addresses on a map, order history and live order tracking.
• Push notifications, offline handling and a technical support form.

Driver app

• Join-us application, login and password reset.
• Go online or offline, today’s earnings and nearby orders on a map.
• Accept orders and move them through pickup and delivery; cancelled and delivered history.
• Wallet and support chat.

Engineering

• Flutter with GetX, Firebase Auth and Cloud Messaging, Google Maps and geolocation.
• Both apps share one API and design language, for Android and iOS.
